Restoring dignity and hope at the European borders.
We do not accept the inhumane conditions faced by people seeking refuge in Europe.
Politics of deterrence have undermined human rights on the borders. Together, we have provided basic needs in Greece, Northern France and the Balkans. Today, we operate our community center Paréa on Lesvos, inspired by the principles of dignity, equality and empowerment of the community.

We provide a welcoming safe space for anyone seeking refuge in Europe and offer a home to another 11 civil society organizations.
Paréa is the largest community center of its kind in Greece and a beacon of hope to all our visitors. We started the center in early 2022 and will stay until we are no longer needed. It is located in walking distance from Mavrovouni Refugee Camp on Lesvos, Greece.
